ardent pan-afrikanist,
Self-taught creative and
sunflower obsessor!

I'm a Scientist turned self-taught Creative Solopreneur. I took the bold and scary move of making a career pivot and here I am, exactly where I should be, doing what
I absolutely love!

I base my life's philosophy on how sunflowers  always tilt their heads towards the light as they grow. Even when the weather is dull and dreary, they still find the light. And that’s how l aim to live my life and the kind of positive impact l strive to leave in people’s lives!

My work is heavily influenced by the delicate yet profound nuances that are embedded into Afrikan cultures like natural elements, patterns, textures, historic writings, symbols and colour as a form of visual and global communication.

i consider myself to be
a delicate balance of
process and creativity.

My scientific background has allowed me to streamline my design approach such that it is methodical and precise. Years of applied experimentation and research have nurtured
the ability for me to think divergently and process creative solutions in a fluid and dynamic way.

I craft and design intentional identities and websites for individuals, SME's and corporates in Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe and the Americas.

WHEN I AM NOT DESIGNING, I JUST MAY BE TALKING ABOUT DESIGN.

I believe in the power of passing on knowledge and sharing experiences as a means of  solidifying creative landscapes and networks. I have had the opportunity to conduct workshops, deliver talks as well as showcase my work on diverse international design platforms such as Type Drives Communities by Type Directors Club (USA), Creative Directions: The Career Conference by Registered Association of Graphic Designers, RDG (Canada), The Book of Creation Camp by Trad Magazine (Canada), Typographics NYC (USA) and Association Typographique Internationale (ATypI).
